Set in Glenbrook close to the Noroton River and bordering Darien, The Riverwalk  townhouses were built in 1987, right  near the historic Philips Mansion, a beautiful mid 19th century, Cotswold Tudor style estate that belonged to the British farmacist and inventor, Charles Edmund H. Phillips.

The Riverwalk condos were developed in harmony with the theme of Philips Estate, keeping the Tudor architecture. They are beautiful townhouses built with frame and concrete, with Brick and Wood exterior siding. The setting is also beautiful and very quiet, surrounded by trees and  grassy lawns.

The Riverwalk community consists of 40 units with 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms, with 1, 2 or 3 full baths + a half bath, offering from 800+ to 2200+ square feet.

All homes boast a cozy living room with a fireplace and sliding doors opening to the deck, a dining area and a spacious kitchen,  generally updated, with custom cabinetry, granite countertops and other fine finishes. Some models feature an open floor plan, while others have the kitchen opening to the dining area.

Most units feature fine design elements like cathedral and slanted ceilings, gabled windows, bay windows in the dining area, and fine finishes like recessed lights or crown moldings.

Some of the upper bedroom floor plans also feature a cathedral ceiling above the master bedroom and a beautiful spacious loft that can be a nice additional bedroom or a home office.

The master bedrooms usually have a walk-in closet, there are many storage spaces throughout,  and some models also offer storage space, or even an additional room, on the lower level.

The beautiful Riverwalk Condominium homes offer plenty of opportunities for a creative interior design and a comfortable living space, whether you choose a 1 bedroom ranch or a 3 bedroom townhouse.

The local conveniences are no less attractive. Within a 10 minutes walking distance from Riverwalk, there are several highly rated restaurants, bars & cafes, some of the best in Glenbrook, while the bustling Downtown Stamford is only a short drive away.

About a 10 minutes walk away, you can find a beautiful park, ideal for relaxation: the Woodland Park, a nearly 65-acre nature preserve with 2 trail systems, ponds and a stream.

Just a 15 minutes walk away from the Riverwalk there is another great place to enjoy a relaxing day in the heart of nature: the Piacentini Nature Preserve, a 2.3-acre preserve with trails and meadows. It is  connected to Olson Woods, a 13-acre natural park and wildlife sanctuary offering several trails, a lake and beautiful views of the Noroton River.

If you love watersports and you want to enjoy some of the best beaches on Long Island Sound, just 8 minutes driving distance away there is the famous Cove Island offering several sports fields, a large park and wildlife sanctuary, 2 sandy beaches and a fishing pier, a marina and the Sound Water Center where you can rent paddle boards and kayaks or you can enjoy a trip with the public schooner. About a 10 minutes drive away there's another sought-after waterfront park, the Cummings Park, also offering several sports fields, a fishing pier and a large sandy beach.

Located just minutes to I-95, Riverwalk is ideal for commuters: a drive to Manhattan from Riverwalk is typically an hour or even less and Glenbrook Train Station is only a 7 minutes walk away.

Riverwalk is one of the most attractive condominiums in Stamford, offering a great location and a beautifully designed living space.
