Putnam Hill is one of the most sought-after condominium complexes in Greenwich. Set near The Putnam summit, in its namesake historic district, the Putnam Hill Complex buildings are 120+ feet above the sea level and 60 feet above the surrounding land, offering scenic views of Long Island Sound.

It was built on a former wooded land in 1956 and it still has some of the 150 years old specimen trees and many evergreens that complement the beautiful views from these homes.

The complex is comprised of five 4-story buildings and it has a total of 195 apartment houses. There were 8 floor plans originally, with one, two or three bedrooms, and now several units offer updated configurations and improvements.

Many floor plans feature spacious balconies, and the first floor units in some of the buildings have extra large patios that are ideal for lounge areas.

Most units offer from 980+ to 1500+ square feet and just a few units have a square footage below or above this range. But all have an open floor concept and large room sizes. They are particularly bright, with large windows, and there are many apartments with several windows on different walls, making these homes so open, spacious and sunny.

A greatly appreciated convenience this Complex offers is its location just 15 minutes away from Greenwich Avenue, the greatest shopping avenue in Connecticut with some of the finest dining restaurants, hip coffee houses and craft or luxury brands shops.

It is also just the right location in the proximity of many public and private schools that are highly rated among the top schools in America.

For relaxing moments surrounded by nature, you can take a walk in the picturesque Putnam Hill district, there is also Greenwich Common Park at about 20 minutes walking distance. A few minutes further than that is the beloved Bruce Park where you will find baseball and tennis courts, hiking trails, beautiful ponds and  birds and a huge playground.

Some of the best beaches on Long Island Sound, like Greenwich Point Park in Old Greenwich and West Beach in Shippan Point,  are less than a 20 minutes drive away from Putnam Hill.

With very easy access to the nearby East Putnam Avenue and also very close to I-95, it only takes about 50 minutes to get to Manhattan. Greenwich Train Station is less than a 10 minutes drive and Westchester Airport is only 20 minutes away.

This complex provides great options for luxury in-town living, conveniently located in Downtown Greenwich, and also with a view from the hill.
