Old Greenwich Gables, or simply The Gables as it is called in the neighborhood, is a luxury condominium community built in the 1990s. The Georgian architectural style, the landscaped courtyards with trees and flowers, the Victorian promenades ending with beautiful water fountains, could make you think of a luxury vacation villa complex in a quaint New England beach-town. It's not only the calm-inspiring design, but also the community itself: people are happy here.

The units are sunny and spacious, with updated kitchens and baths, high quality and luxury finishing materials. These houses are close to each other - at the Gables, as well as most of the houses in the Old Greenwich neighborhood - so there's a great sense of community. And the location - amazing. The Gables is surrounded by recreational opportunities and it's close to so many beautiful places in Old Greenwich.

It is located right across the Innis Arden Golf club and near the 32 acre Binney Park where you can play soccer, tennis or baseball, you can go to a live concert or just enjoy its beautiful ponds, its walking or biking trails.

A short walk from your home places you in the Village, that is Old Greenwich’s own downtown - the shopping, fine dining and meeting place for everyone in the neighborhood. Walk 30 minutes on Sound Beach Avenue, and you'll reach the shining sands of Greenwich Point. Tod’s Point, as it is known, is loved in the summer and also in the winter, by residents and visitors from everywhere around Greenwich. It’s a 147.3-acre town owned beach and recreational area that offers lots of opportunities for outdoor and water sports, relaxation, and the most praised of all: the unique, astonishing view of the ocean from three sides and that of the Manhattan skyline.

Old Greenwich Gables is right across from the Old Greenwich train station, so the glamour of downtown Greenwich is only 10 minutes away by train. If you prefer the vibe of the big city, Manhattan is only 1 hour and 10 minutes away. And if riding the train isn’t your thing, the Gables is close to I95, which makes it just a 50 mins drive to Manhattan.

How would your new home at The Gables look like? First and foremost, it is part of a relatively large condo community. This complex has 167 units, and it features various house types and styles. Your home would be a Colonial or Georgian style, with an open floor plan and a living area from 900+ to 2800+ square feet. Whatever the size or style, you will enjoy the light coming through the large windows.

If you feel you need a quick refreshment after a hard day's work, or maybe a serious workout after a lazy weekend, you have access to a full-size heated swimming pool, a squash court and an exercise room at The Gables Club. After that, you could go for a walk to meet your friends downtown, or you might enjoy a quick drive to the beach to see the ocean and admire Manhattan from a distance. You’ll certainly feel happy to have a sweet home in this great community, in one of the most amazing places in America.
