Greenwich Gate Condominium Complex is one of the most sought after 1-2 bedroom condominium complexes in town and among the best affordable housing developments in Fairfield County. Very convenient to New York, close to parks, shopping centers and a few minutes drive to Downtown Greenwich, a condominium in this complex is a great value for its owner.

Built in 2005 and 2006 in the Pemberwick area, right near the New York state border, Greenwich Gate is a 4-story building comprised of 37 units with 1 or 2 bedrooms and 1 or 2 full baths, offering from 540+ to 900+ square feet.

The condominiums are bright, boasting large windows and a balcony, so you can enjoy beautiful views of the heavily wooded area and the nice grassy lawns surrounding the building.

All homes feature an open concept layout, with a comfortable, sun-lit living room and a nice kitchen area with custom cabinetry, high end appliances, granite countertops and a breakfast bar. Some floor plans feature a balcony off the living room, while other floor plans feature a bedroom opening to a balcony. There are also units with a second bedroom and an expansive balcony.

All units have several storage spaces, built-ins and a laundry room, and the amenities include 1 or 2 assigned parking spaces.

Greenwich Gate residents can enjoy the exercise room/health club within the complex and, just steps away, a beautiful park offering a playground, a baseball field and a skating rink.

There are many parks within a short walking distance from the complex. The largest one nearby is Pemberwick Park, less than a 15 minutes walk away. Set on 44 acres, it features several trails through its heavy wooded areas, a large meadow, a baseball and a soccer field, basketball and tennis courts. The trails leading to Weaver Street connect the park to an 8-acre wood with a brook.

About a 10 minutes walking distance away, there's another lovely park: the 20-acre Lyon Park where you 'll find the historical Bush Lyons Homestead farmhouse and a great lawn with picnic areas. The park also offers a playground and little league fields and there's also the nearby Joseph Curtis Recreation Park. Although it's small, covering about 8 acres, it's an excellent place for relaxation and exercising, offering a playground, a baseball field and batting cage, a skating rink, a basketball court and several bocce courts.

For watersports, boating, swimming and sunbathing, just a 20 minutes walk down the Byram Road leads you to the highly appreciated Byram Waterfront Park where you can enjoy a great sandy beach with a pool, several baseball fields and tennis court and a boat club.

With so many local amenities nearby, great conveniences and offering comfortable living space and finely finished homes, Greenwich Gate is a great choice for in-town living, close to Downtown Greenwich. And it's one of the best choices for commuters: an hour by train from the nearby Port Chester Station or less than an hour drive to Manhattan.
