Great Schools just released the winners of its second-annual 2019 College Success Awards with Wilton High School ranking very high, as seen in the chart above. With a college enrollment rate of 88%, Wilton High School reaches beyond merely graduating students to assisting individuals in getting into and succeeding throughout their college experience.
With a 13 to 1 student to teacher ratio, teachers are able and willing to engage with each individual in an attempt to meet the various and diverse needs of your children. Wilton offers a challenging, but manageable course load varying all the way from photography classes to calculus. The district also offers language studies, visual and performing arts, and even youth sports; all of your children’s interests will be met allowing them to identify their passions and flourish.
The K-5 public schools in Wilton are structured differently than most other towns. Rather than have several schools with the full range of elementary school grades, Wilton instead has the all new Miller-Driscoll School with Pre-K to 2nd Grade and the Cider Mill School with 3rd to 5th Graders. This separation of grades recognizes the differences in learning needs of these age groups and allows the schools to maintain a more focused and age appropriate approach to educating their Students.
Wilton Middle and High Schools have a more typical structure to their grades, but still provide exceptional education to their students, with Wilton High School regularly ranked among the top 10 in Connecticut and the top 100 high school programs nationally.
