Norwegian Luck!

As I was finishing my dinner tonight at a New Canaan restaurant named Cherry Street East, for those from the area, my phone rang - and I answered! I always try not to in a restaurant, but this time - I was drawn to HAVE to answer that phone.

The lady on the other end was very understanding when I explained that I was finishing up dinner at a restaurant, and could I call her back? I don't know why, but at that point I think I also asked her what town she was interested in. She said New Canaan! I told her that was funny, since I was at a restaurant in New Canaan at the time. She asked where? - this meant she knew the town well.....

We spoke later, and it turns out that her family is from Norway, as is her husbands, and we seemed to have a lot in common. My family is from Norway, - my father from Oslo, and my mother from Trondheim - but we kids were all raised here in the USA.

She is interested in purchasing a condo in New Canaan. I am sure we will be in luck, as there are many condos for sale in New Canaan at this time.

We will talk again, but this sure was a fun beginning, and a fun way to spend an evening!
